London boost promotion chances after edging out Leitrim
London came from six points down to beat Leitrim to reinforce their genuine promotion chance in the Allianz League Division 4 this afternoon.
The game was moved to the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence due to an unplayable pitch in Avant Money Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.
Leitrim scored 0-07 in the first half and Keith Beirne's goal early in the second period looked to have given London no chance to recover.
However the visitors took over and James Gallagher put his side in front on 58 minutes and Leitrim failed to score for the rest of the game.
It puts London top of the Division 4 table with three wins out of three, taking advantage of other teams not play due to the inclement weather.
