LOI: Galway United defeat St Pat's as Drogheda claim big win over Sligo Rovers

Galway United made it two wins from two as they defeated St Patrick's Athletic in Emon Deacy Park.

Two first-half goals from Patrick Hickey gave John Caulfield's side their first victory of the season, while St Pat's are still without a win.

Drogheda United claimed the biggest win of the evening with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sligo Rovers.

Joshua Thomas gave them a 1-0 lead at half-time with second-half goals coming from Darragh Markey and Joshua Thomas.

Champions Shelbourne won 1-0 away to Waterford, thanks to a 14th-minute goal from Ademipo Odubeko.

A 10th-minute goal from Michael Duffy gave Derry City victory at home to Bohemians, with both managers sent off in the 14th minute.
