Locked Up: The criminals jailed in Greater Manchester last week

A hit and run killer who mowed down a teenager who was out on a walk with a friend was just of the offenders jailed in our region last week.

Prison terms were also handed to a drug addict son who subjected his mum to a 20-year campaign of terror and a drunken thug who told his ex-girlfriend ‘I’m glad our daughter died’ during a violent attack.

A group of four people who stashed firearms for crime gangs and a man who doused his girlfriend in petrol in an alcohol-fuelled argument were also put behind bars.
