Warne, 52, died from a suspected heart attack late Friday in a luxury villa on the Thailand holiday island of Koh Samui.

Hurley, who was engaged to Warne in 2011, posted a series of photos of the pair, adding: “I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever.

“RIP my beloved Lionheart.”

The 56-year-old British actress and model started dating Warne in 2010, with the King of Spin describing his time with her as “the happiest years of my life”.

However despite the couple getting engaged and buying a house together, they split in 2013 without ever getting married, citing work commitments.

“The more you’re apart, the more you ask questions,” Warne wrote. “I got jumpy about the time Elizabeth still spent with Hugh Grant.

“He is her best friend, but they saw each other more when I wasn’t around so, well, you know.”

Hurely’s son Damien also shared a post, saying Warne was like a father figure.

“My heart is broken. Thinking of and sending love to all
