Bolton manager Ian Evatt has heaped praise on Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley after he continued his impressive start to life at the club by firing his first senior goal during a pre-season fixture on Tuesday.

Evatt's side, fresh from their pre-season training camp in Portugal, made the short trip to Manchester to face League Two outfit Stockport County at their Carrington Training Centre. The sides played out a 2-2 draw and the Liverpool loanee, Bradley, fired his side into a 2-1 lead after a delicate touch gave him the room to strike the ball cleanly into the far corner.

The goal sees Bradley, who has already been capped eight times by Northern Ireland, continue his flying start to life in the professional game and his manager was quick to single out the full-back's performance post-match.

"He’s a young player with huge potential but we don’t want to build him up too high," said Evatt.

"We’ve just got to keep working with him, enjoy his football and hopefully we’ll see
