Breathing down the necks of Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp’s team could move ahead of Pep Guardiola’s champions with a win over former manager Roy Hodgson.

While, on paper, the form book would suggest this will be a fairly routine win for Liverpool, Watford do have previous.

Back in 2020, they ended Liverpool’s hopes of an unbeaten season with a shock 3-0 win, albeit at Vicarage Road.
