Liverpool can return to the top of the Premier League on Saturday night with just one point when they host Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds are one point behind Manchester City but have a better goal difference than the leaders, who play on Sunday when they host Newcastle United.

Spurs have plenty to fight for themselves, with the battle for fourth place still very much alive.

Antonio Conte’s side are two points behind Arsenal, so if they can cause an upset and win at Anfield then they will climb into the Champions League places.

The Gunners welcome Leeds to the Emirates on Sunday, so if Spurs slip up and Arsenal get three points, the battle for fourth will be firmly in their favour.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm on Saturday 7 May at Anfield.

Liverpool’s excellent run with injuries continues as only Roberto Firmino is a doubt and he could even be ready to make the bench.

Tottenham are without Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty, Oli Skipp and Japhet Tanganga thorugh injury.
