A number of players have paid tribute to the 97 fans on the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. From Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford to ex-Reds Luis Enrique and Jamie Carragher, respect was paid online 33 years after the tragedy.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard made the hard decision to leave out two club greats when asked who his best team-mate was.

Steven Gerrard has named Luis Suarez as the best player he has shared a dressing room with.

Gerrard lined up around some Premier League and European legends while playing for Anfield including the likes of Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso and Jamie Carragher. However, when speaking to Gary Neville's Overlap series and pressed on who was better between Suarez and Torres, the Aston Villa boss said the Uruguayan.

"No matter who you were playing you just had a feeling that he was going to win you the game, every game," said Gerrard.
