Liverpool Legends v Barcelona Legends TV channel, live stream and how to watch

Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is a busy man this weekend despite his team having a well-earned break from the Premier League.

Villa are off this weekend because of international fixtures but Gerrard will be in action on Saturday when he plays for Liverpool Legends against Barcelona Legends in a charity match. Gerrard will be returning to his old stomping ground of Anfield for the fixture, the first after lifting of restrictions because of the coronavirus pandemic in three years.

Liverpool hero Gerrard has already said hello to Reds fans on his return to Merseyside, donning a training kit before taking part in a session at the club's new base. The game is being played in aid of the LFC Foundation, Right to Play, Forever Reds, the Barca Foundation and the The Owen McVeigh Foundation.

"Hello Reds, great to be back at the new training ground preparing for tomorrow's game," Gerrard said. "I've heard it's a full house so well done to everyone who's coming to support us for all the good causes."

Any interested Villa fans who want to keep tabs on the boss' performance can do so by tuning into the action, with the game being shown live with all the tickets sold for a seat at Anfield. The game is being broadcast on LFC TV, the club's official channel that can be viewed on Sky television and Virgin Media as well as online for £7 a month.

Alternatively the game is being streamed live on Facebook with a 'virtual ticket' able to be purchased for £1.99. Anyone can buy a virtual ticket whether they have a Facebook account or not with the game being shown on Liverpool's official page on the social media platform.

Gerrard will be joined in the Liverpool team by his former team-mates Jamie Carragher and Sami Hyppia while lining up for
