Liverpool 'going all in' for £103m star 'at end of season' at Anfield

Liverpool will be ‘going all in’ to lure Borussia Dortmund central midfielder Jude Bellingham to Anfield ‘at the end of the season’, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

Although Arthur Melo joined the Reds on a season-long loan from Juventus during the final hours of the summer transfer window, it appears that boss Jurgen Klopp has already made future plans.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are making strong progress in their pursuit of Dortmund star Bellingham and working on a deal for him to join in the summer of 2023.

The report suggests the 15-cap England international has been identified by the Merseyside giants’ recruitment team as a midfielder who is capable of taking Klopp’s side to the next level.

It is understood that Dortmund were unwilling to sanction Bellingham’s exit for less than £103million ahead of last Thursday’s deadline.

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly joined Liverpool in the race for the 19-year-old’s signature during the summer.

However, the Reds are confident that they are in pole position to secure Bellingham’s services and he is expected to join next summer.

Crook understands that Bellingham is firmly in Liverpool’s sights despite the transfer window closing last week.

The talkSPORT reporter is aware that the Reds are preparing to double down in their efforts to get a deal for the Dortmund man over the line.
