Live updates as Vaughan Gething faces FMQs for the first time
New First Minister Vaughan Gething will face First Minister's Questions today for the first time. The weekly event takes place during plenary sessions and sees the First Minister face questions on a variety of topics from fellow Senedd members.
The session starts at 1.30pm. The list of topics from backbench MSs today includes transport, healthcare and youth homelessness.
The leaders of the Welsh Conservative group, Andrew RT Davies, and Plaid Cymru's Rhun ap Iorwerth also ask questions, the topics of which are not known until they ask.
Mr Gething took over as Welsh Labour leader on March 16 and was voted First Minister the following week. On Monday, he gave his first press conference to journalists, and ruled out funding repairs to the National Museum Cardiff, you can read about that here.
