LIVE updates as Galatasaray fans bring Manchester city centre to a standstill ahead of Champion's League clash
Parts of Manchester city centre have been brought to a standstill ahead of Manchester City's Champions' League clash with Galatasaray tonight (January 28).
Fans of the Turkish club have congregated on Shambles Square close to the Arndale Centre, before the traditional escorted walk to the Etihad Stadium. There are currently thousands of supporters in full-voice, raising cries of 'Istanbul!', the home city of the club.
Red flares have also been lit outside Sinclair's Oyster Bar. Images from the scene show supporters dancing and chanting. Several areas of the city centre have been blocked off by the crowd, and police are on the scene.
There heave been no reports of disturbances or violence.
