Live updates as fire breaks out in Cardiff city centre with warning to stay away

People are being told to avoid a main Cardiff city centre street because of a massive fire. Plumes of smoke can be seen above the city centre on Friday lunchtime.

Evac Cardiff said: "Please avoid the area of St Mary's Street, Cardiff due to an ongoing fire at a property on the street. Please use alternative routes where possible." Videos from the scene show plumes of dark smoke above the Brewery Quarter, which is next to Caroline Street.
