Live updates as crashes and repairs block five main Welsh routes completely on sunny weekend
A number of road closures are in place as a result of collisions and accidents across Wales. Police are at the scene of various crash sites as people journey to make the most of the sunny weather this weekend.
The busiest road to be closed is the A40 which has been shut in both directions at Llandovery. There are emergency repairs taking place between Llandovery and Halfway.
The A496 High Street, in Talsarnau, Gwynedd, is closed both directions as a result of a crash near the Estuary Lodge Hotel. The A5 London Road in Penrhos, in Anglesey, is closed in both directions as a result of a collision at the turn off for Penrhos Coastal Park. There is queueing traffic as a result of the collision. The A4051 Cwmbran Drive is closed in both directions due to a crash between the roundabout for Aldi and the roundabout for Sainsbury's. There is queueing traffic in the area. The A4067 at Sennybridge, Powys, is closed in both directions due to another crash between the A4215 and the Gwyn Arms pub in Abercraf.
