Armed police have swooped on a residential property in a Welsh village. There is currently a significant police presence at an address in Dwygyfylchi in Conwy with road closures and a police cordon in place.

Police asked the public for patience as they deal with the incident, reports North Wales Live. A spokesman said: "There is currently a significant police presence at a residential property in Dwygyfylchi. Armed officers are at the scene, which is contained. Road closures and a police cordon are in place in order to maintain public safety.
