LIVE Shoppers 'stuck in Tesco car park for an hour' as accident sparks traffic chaos - updates
A major road near Greater Manchester is blocked this afternoon due to a crash, with drivers reporting delays of over an HOUR.
The A34 Handforth Bypass Northbound is currently blocked, with long queues building from the scene of the accident on Wilmslow Way to A555 (Gillbent roundabout).
Motorists have reported being stuck in traffic for over 60 minutes, with vehicles unable to leave the nearby M&S and Tesco car parks.

It is currently unclear whether anyone has been seriously injured in the collision.

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Shortly after 12pm on Wednesday 9 April police were called to reports of a collision on the A34 in Handforth.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision involving three cars, a white Nissan Leaf, a white Ford Fiesta, and a white panel van.
