LIVE: Seven-mile queues on M60 after crash involving 'multiple vehicles'
There are huge queues of traffic on a section of the M60 this morning after a crash.
The smash - involving 'multiple vehicles' - happened on the clockwise carriageway between junction 27 for the Portwood Roundabout and junction one for Stockport Pyramid.
One lane remains closed off at the scene.
Traffic is currently queuing for around seven miles up to the incident.
Congestion is back to between junction 24 and 25, according to Highways England.
Drivers are being warned of long delays in the area.
A tweet posted by Highways England said: "1 lane closed #M60 clockwise between J27 and J1 #Stockport due to a collision involving multiple vehicles.
"There is approx. 7 miles of slow moving traffic, with congestion back to between J24 and J25.
"Please add an extra 25 to 30 minutes on to your journey."

Drivers have been warned of delays of 35 minutes in the area.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, congestion is back to J23 for Ashton Under Lyne.
