LIVE: Police tape off busy main road after bus and car crash with traffic delays
Police have shut off a busy main road in both directions after a reported crash involving a bus and a car. Rochdale Road has been taped off in both directions near Harpurhey.
Police officers and an ambulance have been pictured at the scene. The closure is causing traffic chaos on a main artery in and out of the city.

Bus routes are being diverted as the investigation continues. The closure is in force between Rochdale Road's junctions with Factory Lane and Parkmount Road, according to traffic information provider Inrix.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.

Rochdale Road is a busy bus route in and out of the city, so the closure in both directions is causing problems.
Go North West has issued a list of bus service diversions.
