LIVE: No Metrolink services running through Piccadilly after 'power outage'

There are no tram services running through Piccadilly after a power outage.

Manchester Metrolink confirmed that a number of service changes are currently in place, until the issue is resolved. Services will now run from:

For passengers wanting to travel from Ashton to Clayton Hall, Metrolink tickets will be accepted on the 216 and 217 bus services. Meanwhile, customers wanting to travel to Old Trafford are being advised to use trams from Market Street or St. Peter's Square.

Electricity North West confirmed that 932 customers are currently without electricity, following a power cut in Manchester. A company spokesman confirmed that engineers are on their way and it is hoped power will be restored by 7.18pm.
