LIVE: Major road closed outside retail park with huge emergency response at scene - latest updates
A major road in Greater Manchester is closed this evening following an incident with a large emergency response a the scene.
Police, paramedics and fire crews are in attendance on Manchester Road near to the junction with Lord Sheldon Way, beside the Snipe Retail Park in Audenshaw following reports of a collision.
Lanes are currently closed with emergency services vehicles blocking the road. Further details about the nature of the incident have not yet been confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police and the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for a comment this evening.

Shortly before 6:45pm this evening (Tuesday 15 April), two fire engines from Ashton and Stalybridge Fire
