Live M60 updates as 'police incident' sees traffic held in Greater Manchester
Traffic was held on the M60 in Greater Manchester tonight (Sunday, August 24) due to a 'police led incident'
The incident was between Junction 23 and Junction 22, near Oldham, with the anti-clockwise carriageway affected.
Inrix, the traffic data company, first reported traffic was being held at around 9pm.
It states: "All traffic being temporarily held due to people on the road on M60 anticlockwise from J23 A635 (Ashton Under Lyne) to J22 A62 (Failsworth)."

National Highways confirmed the road had reopened by 9.25pm.
A spokesperson said: "Traffic has been released on the M60 anti-clockwise between J23 Ashton-under-Lyne and J22 Oldham following a Police Led Incident."
