Live M60 traffic updates as crash leaves lane closed - latest

Delays are building on the M60 motorway tonight (Friday, September 19) due to a crash.

One lane is shut to traffic on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 7 and Junction 9 (Trafford Park).

The incident was first reported at around 8.50pm.

Traffic cameras show long queues forming in the area as a result.

Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "M60 clockwise partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident from J7 A6144 (Carrington) to J9 A5081 Park Way (Trafford Park)."

Inrix, the traffic data company, said:

Road cleared and traffic returned to normal, accident cleared on M60 clockwise from J7 A6144 (Carrington) to J9 A5081 Park Way (Trafford Park)."

Delays continue on the M60 this evening. The motorway is still partially blocked according to Inrix.
