LIVE: M60 'accident' leaves drivers facing long delays

Drivers are facing delays on a Greater Manchester motorway this evening following an 'accident'.

The M60 anticlockwise exit slip road is partially blocked, with slow traffic due to accident at J21 A6104 (Hollinwood). Pictures show large queues forming as emergency services work at the scene.

Traffic is stationary on the carriageway, with delays in the area expected.

Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for more information. Signs above the stretch say there has been an 'accident'.

Good evening. There are queues building on the M60 this evening following what is understood to be a collision. Online traffic alert system Inrix is reporting 'slow traffic' in the area, with the M60 anticlockwise exit slip at junction J21 fully closed at this time.
