Motorists are facing major disruption on a Greater Manchester motorway this morning as queues form for FIVE MILES.
Roadworks on the M6 Southbound between J27 A5209 Crow Orchard Road (Standish) and J26 M58 (Orrell Interchange) are causing delays of at least 30 minutes - with delays of 60 minutes reported in Lancashire.
Congestion is currently stretching to Chorley Services, with motorists advised to check their route.

Across Manchester, all traffic is being held on the M62 in both directions from J10 M6 J21A (Croft Interchange) to J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) following a two-car collision.
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for more information.
