LIVE: Fans gather at Emirates Old Trafford as Harry Styles set to take the stage in first of two Manchester shows

Pop superstar Harry Styles will be taking to the stage at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground for two massive shows this week, playing to an estimated 74,000 fans both tonight and tomorrow.

The Love on Tour shows, which started out in Glasgow over the weekend, are the first time Harry has performed a solo stadium tour, after leaving his former band One Direction, with the Holmes Chapel star returning home to the north west for two jam-packed shows.

Thousands of Harry-mad fans have flocked to the tiny village in Cheshire too - checking out some of the global star's old haunts including Mandeville's Bakery, where Harry was working a part-time job when he shot to fame on the X-Factor aged 16.

The show follows the release of Harry's third studio album, Harry's House, which received a host of positive reviews last month and has already launched chart-topper As It Was to number one.

If the setlist from Harry's Glasgow show is reused in Manchester, fans can expect to hear hits from the latest album and some classics, including Watermelon Sugar, Adore You, and Sign of the Times.

Japanese-American singer-songwriter Mitski will be supporting Harry on both nights, hitting the stage at around 7.15pm before Harry makes an appearance at 8.45pm.

Merchandise stalls will also be open inside the venue both tonight and tomorrow, for fans to pick up official Love on Tour 2022 merch with
