LIVE: East Lancs Road partially shut following crash with traffic delays

The East Lancashire Road has been partially closed in Salford following a crash.

Two lanes of the A580 westbound have been shut near to the junction with Worsley Road, Swinton, due to a collision this afternoon.

One lane remains open, although traffic is currently queuing back to Broad Street, near to Pendleton College.

The incident is reportedly causing delays to bus services in the area.

Drivers are being urged to use an alternative route.
