LIVE: Crime scene in place on Salford street with forensics at scene - latest updates

A crime scene is in place on a street in Salford this afternoon with forensic officers at the scene.

Pictures show a stretch of Taylorson Street currently cordoned off. Multiple police cars are stationed on the road.

Crime scene investigators have placed evidence markers on the road within the tape. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.

A woman who was visiting someone inside Nine Acre Court and has just left has told me there was a ‘large amount of blood’ in one of the lifts
