'Listen to me!' - I heard telling Erik ten Hag reaction after Manchester United rebuild question

The narrow lane to Carrington doesn't take long to travel along in a car, but reporters were forced to walk to attend Erik ten Hag's press conference on Friday afternoon.

Just last week, Bruno Fernandes spent five minutes signing autographs outside Carrington, moving his car so he could pose for as many pictures as possible without blocking the road. There are more kids wanting to get a glimpse of their favourite players during the school holidays and United's players are usually happy to stop, take photos and sign autographs. The players are often generous with their time and that is not the case at every Premier League club.

The press conferences at United, meanwhile, are held in the Jimmy Murphy Building. And up the flight of stairs and opposite the complimentary arrangement of sandwiches and coffee you will currently find a large photo of youngster Ethan Wheatley. The running joke among journalists is the complimentary food at Manchester City is better than United's
