Lions centre pairing in talks with overseas clubs - report
Lions centres Wandisile Simelane and Burger Odendaal are reportedly in high demand in Europe.
According to Rapport, Simelane is in advanced talks with Top 14 giants Toulon, while Odendaal is believed to be in negotiations with English Premiership side Wasps.
Simelane's agent, Dane Galley, told the Afrikaans publication that no final career decision has yet been taken over the former Junior Springbok.
"Wandi has another contract with the Lions. He has not yet decided where his next move will be, but we have a few options on the table," Galley said.
Odendaal, who took over the Lions captaincy after Elton Jantjies left for Japan, is under contract until October and would require an agreement with the Johannesburg franchise if he wishes to depart earlier.
Toulon have Springboks Eben Etzebeth and Cheslin Kolbe on their books, while Wasps have former Lions coach John Mitchell on their coaching staff.
South African players on Wasps' books are loose forward Nizaam Carr, scrumhalf Francois Hougaard and prop Pieter Scholtz.
