Lily Collins' husband: Who is the Emily In Paris star married to?

Lily Collins once again stars in Emily In Paris for its latest outing, but who is she married to in real life?

Actress Lily Collins is behind Emily Cooper, an American fashionista who moves to Paris in the comedy-drama Netflix show for work and finds her love life getting more complicated.

This was particularly true for the third series on Netflix, which saw Emily stuck choosing between Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

Thankfully for the 35-year-old, Collins is already very much loved-up with her husband.

Emily In Paris actress Lily Collins is married to writer and filmmaker Charlie McDowell who she met while on the set of his movie Gilded Rage in 2019.

She previously opened up on how she knew almost instantly that Charlie was the one for her.

Talking to Live With Kelly And Ryan, Collins said: "It was one of those situations where I knew the second I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day. So, it was just a matter of when, really.”

McDowell has worked behind the scenes on projects including The One I Love with Elisabeth Moss, Silicon Valley and The Discovery.

He also worked on Dear White People and directed a couple of episodes of On Becoming A God In Central Florida.

Like his wife, McDowell also comes from a famous family as he is the son of actress Mary Steenburgen, who has starred in The Proposal, Back To The Future III, Step Brothers, Elf and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape - just to name a few.

His dad is A Clockwork Orange actor Malcolm McDowell, with the former couple being parents to both McDowell and his sister Lilly McDowell Walton.

Steenburgen divorced Malcolm in 1991 and went on to marry Cheers star Ted Danson four years later, with the actor already having two
