Leicester 'desperate' for Youri Tielemans to join PSG, Barcelona or Real Madrid

Leicester City are ‘desperate’ for Youri Tielemans to head overseas if his expected departure comes to fruition in the summer, according to Daily Mail journalist Tom Collomosse.

Tielemans slotted home from the penalty spot as the Foxes were made to settle for a point against West Ham United on Sunday, but it appears his days at the King Power Stadium may be numbered.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tielemans has no intention of extending his stay at Leicester and rejected the club’s latest offer of a new contract.

Romano understands the 47-cap Belgium international has attracted interest from a host of clubs ahead of the transfer window reopening in the summer.

The Daily Mail have claimed Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have been put on red alert after the major development, while Serie A giants Juventus and La Liga title chasers Real Madrid are also circling.

The report suggests Leicester are open to selling Tielemans for £35million having previously valued the central midfielder at £60million.

Leicester’s heavily reduced price tag is due to the 24-year-old entering the final 12 months of his £120,000-per-week contract when the transfer window reopens for business.

According to Dutch media outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Tielemans is keen to join a club challenging for their domestic title at the end of the season.
