Leicester: £49.5m star has 'no intention of signing deal' at King Power

Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans currently has “no intention” of signing a new contract at the King Power Stadium, says transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Arsenal’s interest in the 25-year-old, who will be a free agent next summer, seems to have cooled. But Romano still cannot see him putting pen to paper on an extension for the time being.

As a result, it now looks like Arsenal have no need for Tielemans, which will come as a huge disappointment to the Belgian, who is said to be keen on moving to north London.

In the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, he recorded the sixth-highest WhoScored rating in Brendan Rodgers’ squad (6.90).
