Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Becomes Biggest Lego Game Launch Ever

Warner Bros. Games has released new sales numbers for the game and it seems like Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is being loved by everyone.

The latest game in the Lego universe, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has had a blockbuster launch in the entire history of the series.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga came out on April 5th 2022 and the game has already started making records.

The game is the sixth release in the Lego Star Wars series and is developed by the British video game developer TT Games.

Warner Bros. Games announced that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was the biggest launch in LEGO Game history. They also revealed that the enjoyable game sold 3.2 million units over its first two weeks.

GameIndustry.Biz revealed that the game is the second fastest selling game of the year behind Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but ahead of Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring.

It is very interesting to see that the publication reported that 31% of boxed sales were on PS5, 26% on Nintendo Switch, 23% on Xbox and 20% on PS4.

The Lego Star Wars series started in 2005 with the original Lego Star Wars, and since then, TT Games has managed to expand the Lego universe. The developers currently have over 20 Lego games based on franchises like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Marvel and DC superheroes under their belt.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a beautiful looking game and comes with updated combat features that make slashing through enemies much more fun and thrilling. It also includes stories, content, and characters from all nine Skywalker Saga films.
