Leeds Utd transfer news: Jesse Marsch given Tyler Adams hope amid massive reveal by trusted source

Leeds United are hot on the trail of Tyler Adams amid confirmation from a trusted source that RB Leipzig do plan to sell the midfielder this summer.

The Whites are busy shaping their squad ahead of the new season. And after sailing so close to the relegation wind in 2021/22, they appear keen to learn from past mistakes. As such, supporters will welcome the three signings they have already made.

To that end, Leeds confirmed the signing of Brenden Aaronson just days after safety was confirmed. And the captures of Rasmus Kristensen, also from RB Salzburg, soon followed. Marc Roca was confirmed as their latest addition last week.

Two of those signings have been in their midfield. Given their last midfield addition was way back in January 2018, when Adam Forshaw arrived from Middlesbrough, clearly it was an area that needed attention.

However, Leeds have seemingly not stopped there and are casting their eyes on further midfield additions.

One player who has seemingly caught their eye is USA star Adams.

The 23-year-old moved to Leipzig from New York Red Bulls back in 2019. That move reunited him with Jesse Marsch, where the current Leeds coach was working as a No 2 to Ralf Rangnick at the time.

Now in charge at Elland Road, Marsch is keen to work with Adams for a third time.

Now Leeds United interest in Adams has been confirmed by trusted source Florian Plettenberg. The Sky Deutchsland journalist claims the Whites are very much considering a move for Adams.

Furthermore, he states that Leipzig are willing to sell if the price is right.
