Leeds United vs Manchester United prediction and odds: Goals on the cards in Sunday's Roses grudge match

Check out our 17/20 Leeds United vs Manchester United prediction below

Manchester United's bid for a top-four Premier League spot gained some much-needed momentum in midweek as the Reds edged past a spirited Brighton but their prospects of finishing in those coveted Champions League places remain very much in the balance.

United have only lost once since Ralf Rangnick took over and although performances have often left much to be desired, xG data suggests they are trending in the right direction.

For all their wastefulness, it was a third Premier League game in succession that United had generated an xGF of 2.0 or more, whilst averaging an xGA of 0.8 across those matches.

The Reds are 22/25 with Grosvenor Sport to win at Elland Road on Sunday, while the hosts are 3/1 to take the scalp their supporters want the most this season.

However, recent performances at West Ham and Aston Villa, in which Leeds scored three times on both occasions, highlight just how much damage Marcelo Bielsa's side can cause to a decent Premier League defence when on song and the hosts are going to be spurred on by what is sure to be a raucous Elland Road crowd.
