Leeds United increasingly confident they can land centre-back target, claims journalist

Leeds United are reportedly becoming increasingly confident in their chances of landing RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, per journalist Dean Jones.

Gvardiol has been a target for the Whites throughout numerous transfer windows. Indeed, their interest began back in 2020, when they attempted to sign him.

That was when he was snared by current club Leipzig. In fact, Leeds manager Jesse Marsch managed Gvardiol for a time, when the pair were at the German club.
