Leeds and Everton among four clubs interested in signing former Liverpool winger

Leeds United and Everton headline a number of clubs who are reportedly interested in former Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

Kent only made one appearance for the Reds, starting an FA Cup third round tie away at Exeter City in 2016.

However, he has shone north of the border for Scottish giants Rangers and has become a vital part of the squad, initially under Steven Gerrard and no under Giovani van Bronckhorst.

Kent has made over 160 appearances for the Scottish side and helped them break Celtic’s Premiership domination by winning the title last season.

He has also helped them to the Europa League final this season and his performances have drawn attention from a number of Premier League clubs.

According to 90min, Everton and Leeds are keen on the winger, whilst Wolves are also thought to be interested in the 25-year-old.

Recently promoted Fulham are also mentioned as suitors for the Rangers man.

Any move for Everton and Leeds will be dependent on their Premier League survival. The Toffees currently sit behind Jesse Marsch’s side but they do have a game in hand.

And it’s for that reason that Everton defender Michael Keane has claimed that they have the upper hand.

As per the Liverpool Echo, Keane said: “Of the three teams, we are holding the strongest hand. Yes, we’re 18th right now and psychologically want to climb out of the bottom three as soon as possible.
