Leadership Golf Digest debuts next month

Leadership Golf Digest, a publication of Leadership Newspapers wholly devote to golf, will debut on the newsstands next month, the publishers have disclosed.

The all-colour, all-glossy monthly magazine, which will hit the newsstands in January, is available in print.

Leadesrhip Golf Digest, designed as a monthly publication, is edited by Nigeria’s foremost golf writer, Tony Akhigbe. It will strive to amuse and educate golfers and non-golfers on the sport, the media outfit said.

Speaking on the publication, Akhigbe pledged that the magazine would be honest and heartfelt, saying that the stories would play well to the readers and will be golfers’ real companion. It added that efforts have been geared towards getting it to the newsstand across the country.

‘‘The magazine will equally circulate in some selected golf clubs abroad, major hotels, federal ministries, libraries and airports across the nation and to others largely by subscription.

‘‘The magazine will provide fresh insight into the game and serve as one vehicle that will drive the nation’s golf to the hearts of golfers across the globe,’’ Akhigbe said.
