Lawrence snatches draw for resilient Ireland Under-17s against Slovakia

Michaela Lawrence prodded home an 88th minute equaliser as Ireland fought back to draw 1-1 with Slovakia in the Women's Under-17 European Championship qualifier at Tallaght Stadium.
James Scott's team controlled the game from the off, with Lawrence and Orlaith O'Mahony dictating things in the middle of the pitch.
After a fantastic solo run in the 18th minute, Lia O’Leary nearly got the first goal of the game, but the ball hit off the inside of the post and into the Slovakian goalkeeper’s hands.
