Last minute Valentine’s Day flowers for delivery - what the last date you can order?

Flowers are a universal love language, and nothing quite says 'I love you' like a bunch of gorgeous roses on February 14.

And yet still so many people forget to order their bouquets and find themselves stood in the supermarket looking at a sad selection of wilting stems that have been reduced come 4.45pm.

Better still, they grab a bunch while filling the car up with fuel on the way home from work, which is worse than forgetting all together.

With Valentine's Day just days away, deadlines for ordering bouquets to your dates doorstep are looming, so we've done the leg work for you and dug out the very last days you can order.

After all, you wouldn't want them to think you've forgotten when they turn up late, right?

BirminghamLive collated a handy list of flower deadlines for Valentine’s Day to make sure you are not lagging behind this year.

Red roses from £24.99

To get a Prestige Flowers delivery in time for Valentine’s Day, your last day for ordering flowers is Sunday, February 13 at 6pm although the retailer advises ordering in advance before the best bunches run out of stock.

A spokesperson from Prestige Flowers said: “The deadline is the 13th but there are a lot of flowers that are unavailable, this will be seen on the date you select.

“The cut off time is 6pm all week.”

Red roses from £37

As Interflora is an online stockist of various local florists, the deadline very much depends on which you are buying from.

However, a spokesperson for Interflora said: “It is very much dependent on individual florists, but the earlier you can order the better.

“As some florist will go off line due to reaching capacity and this can be anytime.”
