Lamar Jackson: Baltimore Ravens QB pulls off insane juke against Giants

Lamar Jackson showed us all why he needs to be considered in the MVP conversation as the Baltimore Ravens quarterback pulled off a sensational juke. 

Lamar Jackson has had something of an up-and-down year so far with the Baltimore Ravens. It all really started before the season started, as he and the team were not able to get a deal together despite going through contract negotiations all summer, even the threat of a deadline ahead of Week 1 wasn’t enough for the two to come to an agreement. 

As a result, he came into the season with his future beyond the end of the 2022 season in doubt. The Ravens do have the option to extend him through franchise tags, but they only work for one year at a time, so in terms of the long-term, there is still a lot that needs to be worked out.

But whilst matters off the field are sorted out, there are important matters on it, most notably how the Ravens have been incredibly inconsistent so far this season, as their results so far this season have gone; win, loss, win, loss, win to give them a 3-2 record.

But whilst the Ravens have been inconsistent, Jackson has been far from it. Coming into their game this week against the New York Giants, he has thrown for 1,067 passing yards and 12 touchdowns (3rd in the league) against just 5 interceptions, whilst also adding a further 374 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. 

Those numbers have thrust him at times to be considered in the conversation for league MVP, the award that he won back in 2019. 

And if he keeps making plays like this, then those conversations are only going to get a little louder.
