Lady Louise Windsor pays tribute to Prince Philip at the Royal Windsor Horse Show

Young royal Lady Louise Windsor has paid tribute to her late grandfather Prince Philip as she drove a carriage at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Sunday (May 14.)

The 19-year-old has caught the attention recently following events such as the late Queen’s funeral and King Charles’ Coronation.

Lady Louise is the eldest child and only daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Her younger brother is James, Viscount Severn.

As she grew up, Lady Louise's parents tended to keep her out of the media spotlight however, lately fans of the royal family have been noticing the teen royal’s presence a lot more.

Over the week, Lady Louise drove a carriage in the Pol Roger Meet of the British Driving Society at the annual show. The event is highly prestigious in equine circles, and was a favourite of Queen Elizabeth II as well as among other members of the family.

She appears to have a shared love of carriage driving with the late Duke of Edinburgh, who famously had a passion for carriage driving.

It was the first time her parents saw their eldest child take part in the event, as they proudly watched on at their daughter who looked elegant in a co-ordinated beige riding jacket and matching fedora hat.

This year is also the first after the death of the Queen, who attended the 2022 show which honoured 70 years of her reign.

Following the Queen's death, Lady Louise is now 15th in the line of succession to the British throne.
