Kyogo Furuhashi set for Celtic return against Rangers at Ibrox
Kyogo Furuhashi could make his long-awaited return for Celtic in Sunday’s top of the table clash against Rangers at Ibrox.
The Japanese striker has been out since Boxing Day with a hamstring injury but Ange Postecoglou has revealed that the 27-year-old is back fit and “raring to go” ahead the Old Firm showdown.
Furuhashi scored 15 goals in the 26 appearances for Celtic this season before picking up the injury.
Postecoglou said: "At the moment this is probably the strongest we have been squad wise throughout the year about the health of the players and the condition we are in.
"We are in good shape and we will have to be. Look, that's something we'll assess but whatever game we are going to throw him into it is going to be a big one.
"He has worked hard at training in his rehab, he is itching, raring to go, just a moment of me picking the right moment for him."
