Kyle Walker left out of England squad as four Man City players included
Four Manchester City players have been named in Gareth Southgate's latest England squad for this month's international break, with Kyle Walker left out.
England face Switzerland and Ivory Coast at Wembley in friendlies having secured their qualification for the 2022 World Cup in November. Gareth Southgate has used the opportunity to call up some fringe players such as Crystal Palace duo Conor Gallagher and Marc Guehi.
Four of City's five England internationals have survived the changes, however, with Kyle Walker the only surprise omission. John Stones, Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish are all included.

Grealish may have felt his place was at risk after some indifferent form in front of goal, but he has improved recently with a strike in the FA Cup at Peterborough and a brilliant performance in the derby win over Manchester United.
Similarly, Walker has found himself in and out of the City team after his Champions League red card in December, with Southgate often rotating his right-back options with some strong options in that position. Even with Keiran Trippier's injury, there is no space for Walker, though, as Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Chelsea defender Reece James are picked. Guehi, on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, gets a first call-up in defence.
Foden will be hoping to impress Southgate after finding himself without a set position for England. However, he has started the Three Lions' last four games, registering three assists, so will be hoping for more chances this month.
