KSI vs Tommy Fury fight result and why it was changed after error

Tommy Fury’s win over KSI has been corrected to a unanimous decision after one of the judges made a calculating error.

There was no love lost between the two boxers on Saturday night and Fury was granted a majority victory after one of the judges said that they drew 57-57. However, after pictures of the scorecards were released, it was clear that the total points on the card were actually 57-56 in Fury’s favour.

The other two score cards also read 57-56 to Fury so the recalculation simply falls in line with the other scoring. But such a decision will do little to settle KSI’s annoyance at coming up short against his opponent.

"Robbery, it's a robbery bro," he said afterwards. "How many jabs did he land? And he had a point taken off as well. You weren't landing. Look at your face, look at your eyes. Look at you.

"He is the man who is meant to be a pro boxer and he won a majority decision? It's outrageous man. The amount of times he hit me in the back of the head. So many times. And the referee only took one point?

“He kept doing it over and over. I'm sorry, it's outrageous. We're going to appeal, I want to appeal. I felt like I won that."

Fury was actually docked a point for punching KSI at the back of the head. That happened in the second round but all three judges had Fury as the winner of that section regardless.
