KSI makes major next boxing opponent announcement after Wayne Bridge fight withdrawal

KSI is set to face Dillon Danis in the ring on March 29 in Manchester, following the withdrawal of former Premier League footballer Wayne Bridge from their planned bout. The pair's original fight was scheduled for 2023, but Danis, a former teammate of Conor McGregor, pulled out with just 10 days' notice.

He later fought Logan Paul that year, a match that ended prematurely in the final round when Danis attempted a takedown. KSI, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, hasn't stepped into the ring since his loss to Tommy Fury in 2023.

The social media star had plans to fight Slim and Anthony Taylor in a two-on-one boxing match last year, but an injury forced him to withdraw. Now fully recovered, the 31-year-old Misfits sensation is gearing up for a busy 2025 in the ring.

Both KSI - whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji - and Bridge were slated to go head-to-head, but Bridge withdrew after KSI made controversial remarks about his ex-girlfriend and her alleged affair with former teammate John Terry. The pair squared off at Misfits 20 last month, where KSI quickly threw a personal jab at Bridge, asking, "Aren't you the guy that let John Terry smash your ex? " To which Bridge responded: "You want to go there straightaway do you? " KSI retorted: "I'm pretty sure that's what you're known for."

The Sidemen member then started a chant of 'Vanessa woah, Vanessa woah', reports the Mirror. Bridge's ex-girlfriend has always denied having an affair with Terry.
