Knives and drugs seized as fireworks let off by youths terrorising streets in Bury

Knives and drugs were seized as fireworks were let off by youths terrorising the streets in Bury. Police have spent a weekend of action cracking down on crime and anti-social behaviour across the borough.

Greater Manchester Police shared the update on social media, announcing they had been taking a 'proactive approach' to policing in the area, with plain clothed officers using the 'element of surprise' to try and catch those responsible.
