Klopp & Guardiola's handshake at the end of Man City 2-2 Liverpool was just the best ending
Manchester City 2-2 Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium was a true Premier League classic.
The clash between the two world-class sides battling for the title was given the biggest of build-ups and it met virtually every single expectation.
It was sporting entertainment of the highest order and the only minor downside was that neither team emerged victorious from the epic encounter.
Things could have been different in that regard had Riyad Mahrez kept his composure in the final minute of stoppage-time, but the Algerian skied a relatively easy opportunity by his standards.
So the two best teams on the planet had to settle for a point each, with Kevin De Bruyne, Diogo Jota, Gabriel Jesus and Sadio Mane the goalscorers on the day.
It’s a match Premier League fans will not forget in a hurry and the two managers on show made sure to give us one final brilliant memory straight after the full-time whistle had been blown.
Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp shared a wonderful embrace on the touchline, one which further highlights the enormous respect they have for one another.
