Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Mouthful Mode Confirmed

Nintendo sent the gaming community into a frenzy after showcasing their hilarious Mouthful Mode that will feature in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

During what was a whacky and action-packed trailer during Nintendo Direct, the Japanese gaming giants have been giving Kirby, the infamous pink sphere-shaped character, more abilities to help navigate him through an unforgiving world.

By eating an array of items, Kirby can inherit special perks which will make him more powerful in certain situations. For example, swallowing a car, which you can see in the trailer listed below, will help him travel faster, as well as damage boxes and attack enemies while manoeuvring.

Over the years, Kirby has won the hearts of millions of gamers across the globe with his appealing and delicate appearance, and this version is likely to be just the same.

Kirby has always been a popular character in the Super Smash Bros’ series, typically as he can use opposing players’ powers against them to good effect.

During Nintendo Direct, a new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land showcased what looks to be a hugely entertaining new ability that is on offer.

Mouthful Mode means that Kirby can eat pretty much anything, which has not been the case in previous games where large items have him back slightly.

Now he looks to have jumped this hurdle after swallowing a car whole, after three enemy dogs that charge him, during what was an entertaining piece of footage.

Whether we are expected to be shown more features from now until release, remains to be seen. But this is likely to keep gamers amused for hours on end.
