Kim Kardashian loses Hollywood co-star from American Horror Story creator's new drama

Ryan Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, has lost Halle Berry from his upcoming TV project.

The new legal drama, titled All's Fair, was announced last year and is set to be "a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural" for Hulu, the US streaming service.

Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian are still on board, with Kim playing a successful Los Angeles divorce lawyer at an all-female law firm. Production is slated to begin later this year for a premiere in early 2025.

However, the search for Halle's replacement could cause delays. Variety confirmed that Halle left due to "due to a scheduling conflict".

Details about the roles of the X-Men star and Glenn have not been disclosed yet. Despite losing the Hollywood star, there are several roles left to fill in All's Fair, so it can still meet its 2025 release window.

In December, TVLine reported that the series was looking for three other actresses to play Kim's law partners and an A-list actor to play her character's love interest.

This will be Kim's second collaboration with Ryan after her acclaimed role in the latest season of American Horror Story, Delicate, where she played ruthless publicist Siobhan Corbyn opposite Emma Roberts' aspiring actress Anna Victoria Alcott.

The showrunner of AHS will take on the roles of writer, director, and executive producer for All's Fair under a comprehensive agreement with Disney.

Although international release dates are yet to be confirmed, it is anticipated that UK viewers will be able to watch the series on Star on Disney+, as is typical with most Hulu series.

American Horror Story is available to stream on Disney+.
